Want to become a member of the Association representing Canada's premier sheep breed? Benefits Available to Members: · Promotion – The Association is currently advertising in a wide range of breed magazines as well as the CCWG annual catalogue, promoting the breed and its members within the agricultural community. Representatives of the association are also present at many local tradeshows. · Website – Online access is now available to members to develop contacts both locally and abroad to promote Rideau genetics. · Information Sharing – With the use of a quarterly newsletter as well as the bulletin boards and on-line chats, information is shared between members regarding association business as well as pertinent articles and info from industry professionals. · Genetic improvement – Members are encouraged to participate in the Sire Reference Program, which increases the accuracy of genetic indices between flocks and allows for better selection within flocks.
